Dr Khan will explain the pros and cons of imaging with different imaging modalities and will propose an algorithm for imaging the adrenal gland for adrenal incidentaloma

14.00 – 14.30         FNA of Thyroid Gland (Dr M M Khan)

Consultant Histopathologist Nottingham University Hospital

Dr M Khan, who has a special interest in Endocrine Histopathology, will explain the THY classification for reporting thyroid FNA and will discuss its mechanism and limitations

14.45 - 15.15          Wound management and Diabetic Foot (Dr Michael Mulcahy)

Dr Mulcahy will explain the basic principles of wound management and its application to treatment of diabetic foot problems

Dr Bodmer will explain the “Think Glucose” inpatient diabetic patient care project and its application in a District General Hospital
