For each scenario below, choose the most appropriate answer from the list above. Each option may be used once, more than once or not at all.

1. High risk for newborn infants, especially where there is delayed breastfeeding. They present with non-specific bruising, a prolonged prothrombin time, prolonged partial thromboplastin time - but less so than for PT, and unaffected fibrinogen level, thrombin time and platelet count

2. A rare congenital disease, treated with cryoprecipitate replacement

3. A hypercoaguable state characterised by a lack of a vitamin K dependant protease, which stimulates fibrinolysis

4. Caused by a Donath-Landsteiner IgG antibody attaching to red blood cells in low temperatures, and leading to intravascular haemolysis and haemoglobinuria following rewarming. Commonly acute, transient, and follows viral infections such as measles, mumps, glandular fever, or chicken pox.

5. A state of normal or increased prothrombin time, with an increased partial thromboplastin time which cannot be corrected by addition of normal plasma. Caused by antibodies to specific inhibitor proteins
