2.    A 66-year-old lady presents with a three-day history of haemoptysis.  On further questioning, she reveals she has a past history of treated TB.  Chest radiograph demonstrates a ‘halo’ sign.

3.    A 78-year-old female requiring mechanical ventilation for the past five days following an exacerbation of COPD develops fever and tachypnoea despite broad-spectrum antimicrobial therapy.  Chest auscultation reveals scattered rhonci.
