3. This condition is mainly asymptomatic but susceptible to oxidative crisis due to reduced gluthione production. Precipitated by drugs such as aspirin.
4. A patient presents having experienced abrupt fever and rigors, on examination there is anaemia and hepatosplenomegaly. Patient has been on holiday recently.
5. Asymtomatic heterozygous condition with mild anaemia and low mean cell volume and mean corpuscular haemoglobin.
