2. A 60 year old man with multiple myeloma complains of palpitations and patchy redness of the skin. Tissue from a renal biopsy turns a deep red colour when stained with a dye.

 

3. A 68 year old lady diagnosed with multiple myeloma presents to A&E with drowsiness, confusion and thirst. She is apyrexial and has not eaten much due to abdominal pains.

 

4. A 79 year old man with multiple myeloma complains of chest pain. A radiographic film indicates rib fracture and shows punched-out lesions of the bone.
