1. A premature infant with abdominal distension and bloody stools. On plain x-ray there is pneumatosis intestinalis and dilated bowel loops.
2. A 2 week old baby with feeding difficulties, hepatosplenomegaly and failure to thrive. CT scan revealed calcification of the adrenal glands.
3. A 7 year old boy presents to A and E following a seizure. His mother recalls him complaining of pain in his arms and legs, and blood tests reveal low serum calcium.
4. A 3 month old infant with clay coloured stools and pale urine. Her mother describes recent weight loss, and on examination the baby is jaundiced. After full investigation, the baby is referred for a kasai procedure.
5. A taller than average 4 year old boy presents to his GP with small testes and pubic hair. Blood tests reveal low levels of aldosterone and cortisol.
