1. A 58-year-old man presents to the GP with abdominal pain and jaundice. He has abnormal LFTs with a very high ALT and AST and mildly elevated bilirubin and Alk Phos.
2. A 23-year-old man has routine blood tests revealing a raised bilirubin, he is otherwise asymptomatic.
3. A 42-year-old man presents to A&E with confusion, lethargy and jaundice. His stools and urine are normal in colour. Blood tests show a raised unconjugated bilirubin, LDH, AST and haemoglobin of 8.1g/dl.
4. A 51-year-old woman presents to A&E with RUQ pain. She has raised Alk Phos and bilirubin. ALT and AST are mildly raised.
5. An 18-year-old has a raised gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase level after being admitted to A&E following an alcohol binge. LFTs, FBC and U&E are normal.
