For each scenario below, choose the most appropriate answer from the list above. Each option may be used once, more than once or not at all.
1. A 40 year old man with a history of attending A&E while drunk presents with a 2 day history of increasing epigastric and left-sided upper abdominal pain radiating to the back. He retches continually, and there is upper abdominal tenderness and guarding.
2. An 83 year old woman presents with a 2 week history of progressive jaundice and pruritis. Direct questioning reveals a 3 month history of anorexia and weight loss. On examination, she is cachectic and deeply icteric, with a palpable gallbladder but no hepatomegaly.
3. An 18 year old student is rushed to A&E after fainting during a hockey match. On questioning he remembers feeling dizzy and developing palpitations before blacking out. He has twice suffered similar instances previously following intensive exercise.
4. A 76 year old woman presents with a 5 day history of painless obstructive jaundice. A CT scan shows a 5cm mass in the head of the pancreas. FNA of the mass reveals malignant glandular cells.
5. A 30 year old man presents with abdominal pain and nausea. An ECRP reveals two separately draining ducts within the pancreas.
