2. A 21-year-old rugby player collapses in the Redback straight after a Saturday rugby game. He is a known diabetic and his’ teammates recall him chanting, “eating is cheating” on the way there from the game.

5. A 58 year old women is brought in by her husband as she has been confused and drowsy. The husband is concerned as at a recent GP appointment she had one of her medications increased. He is unsure what it was but knows that she is not taking insulin. On investigation she has a blood glucose of 2.4mmol/L and her symptoms are relieved with a adextrose infusion.
