1. 85 year old female is found to have ++ nitrites on urinalysis during a routine check up at the GP. She is asymptomatic.
2. 20 year old female with dysuria, urgency and frequency. Symptoms have been present for 10 days. ++ leucocytes on urinalysis.
3. 70 year old female with indwelling catheter. She has mild suprapubic tenderness. Candida is present in urine.
4. A 35 year old female with a temperature of 38.2 °C and nausea. There in pain on firm palpation of the right kidney. On urinalysis, there is ++ blood and +++leucocytes.
5. 20 year old male with dysuria, urgency and frequency. Symptoms have been present for 4 days. ++ leucocytes on urinalysis.
