may be used once, more than once or not at all.
1.59 year old male presents to his GP, prompted by his wifeÕs complaints
that his hearing has deteriorated recently. He admits he is finding it hard to
keep up with conversations when people stand on his left. On examination Weber test localises to
the right and Rinne test is positive. Blood tests
showed elevated Alkaline Phosphatase.
2. A 40 year old female presents complaining of a dull aching pain all
over. Recently she has been feeling tired all the time and very apathetic. She
has had recurrent colicky pains along her left loin. Blood investigations
indicate bone pathology is involved in the development of her symptoms.
3. 65 year old female
presents with back pain which began suddenly, is made worse by standing and
moving around and relieved by lying down. Further examination of the woman
reveals abdominal striae and a buffalo hump.
4. A short, 6 year old, female patient with bowed legs and a past
medical history of frequent fractures
